Although Coach Mcnamara shared some constructive criticism of the team he was pleased with his team defensive efforts on the night. Defense would be the them of the Saints victory.

I wish I was being hyperbolic by saying this but the picture above was how tight Siena played St. Peters all night. They were in there chest all night so much so they probably could smell what the team ate for breakfast. The Saints would mix up there defensive looks but would trap the Peacocks all night long.

Due to the immense ball pressure from the Saints the Peacocks struggled with efficiency. Shooting 37% on the night. Doty, and Shoats seem to be a thorn in St. Peters offense by they way there were able to jump passing lanes, and be disruptive. It was a defensive masterclass. Myles Wilmoth would also make his presence known with 3 monster blocks.

Dynamic Duo
Freeman was in the zone all game long finishing with 28 points on 71.429% shooting. He might was to remember what he ate for breakfast that morning, and included it in his game routine lol. Major Freeman played aggressive on both ends of the floor giving the Saints the advantage.

Justice Shoats attacked the basket all game long. The Saints guard played like he was 6’6 rather than 5’11. Giving the Saints 20 points on the nights shooting 60% for the game. The only blemish on the night for Shoats where a few turnovers late in the game.

For THREEEEEEEE

The Siena Saints has a flamethrower on there team. His name is Brendan Coyle. Coyle is currently shooting 40% for 3 on the season. He has a habit of grabbing rebounds, and making lazy defenders pay for not guarding him. Brendan would spend the nights aggravating “Peacocks” by knocking down 4-6 form 3P range.

Whats Next For The Saints
The Saints travel to New Jersey to take on Rider. Let’s see in Siena can build on there win streak.
