Short story

The Connecticut Sun defeated the Minnesota Lynx, 79-69. The game started off at a slow pace in quarter one. With both teams missing a bunch of layups. For a second it seemed like the Lynx would end up winning both home games. That all changed when Ty Harris was brought in off the bench. The South Carolina alumni was amazing on both sides of the court. Harris made key offensive and defensive plays on Mitchell. Making it impossible for the Lynx to come back in the game.

Ty Harris Turning Defense Into Offense

Outside of Ty Harris keeping Mitchell in the torture rack, Tiffany Hayes was dropping bombs atomically. A valuable veteran for this suns roster. Hayes presents many match up problems for opposing defenses. As a knock down shooter, Hayes knocked down 50% from 3P, and finished converting 77% of her FG.

Tiffany Hayes, The Valuable Veteran!

The story of the night was the impeccable play of Aylssa Thomas. Thomas although starting the game off slow continue to make HERstory. The former lay Terrapins notched a back to back triple double. Thomas is the first player in WNBA history to record 20+ points, 20+ rebounds and 10+ assists.
