While attending Fashion Palette during New York fashion week we got a glimpse of CRISTAHLEA.
CRISTAHLEA comprises artistries of delicate handcraft and structured tailoring. Signified by an undercurrent of ethereal allure, the brand’s traditional-contemporary interpretations of the feminine reveal interplays of florals, embroideries, crystal embellishment and lace. The CRISTAHLEA brand has been worn by Australian actresses and musicians including Kylie Minogue, Sarah Ellen, Natasha Liu Bordizzo, Rebecca Maddern, Emma Freedman and Sophie Monk. CRISTAHLEA Ready-To-Wear collections are available in-store and online via the CRISTAHLEA E-Boutique. CRISTAHLEA Haute Couture Collections are available by appointment.
Sisters Christiana and Katya Lea Livaditis formed CRISTAHLEA together in Melbourne in 2012 following studies in fashion and photography. Christiana completed Honours in Fashion from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology in 2009 and Katya Lea completed a Bachelor of Photography from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Creative Arts from the University of Melbourne in 2006. Whilst studying together at RMIT, Katya Lea and Christiana shared a studio together in Windsor, Melbourne. Over three years, a shared interests in each other’s practise spurred a creative partnership and crystallised into the CRISTAHLEA brand.
