UAlbany Football defeats Rhode Island, 35-28

First Half – Rhode Island started the game off hot. On there first drive #4 (RB Bryant) runs in for a touchdown at the 8:21 mark. UAlbany’s QB Undercuffler answered with a impressive drive of his own finding Juwann Green open for a 62 yard TD pass. As time began to wind down in the first half Rhode Island QB Priore runs in for a QB sneak to score a TD.

Second Half – After a slow start for UAlbany in the first half the Great Danes defense ran wild. The third quarter started with a fumble recovery from UAlbany Nick Griffin which turned into a 55 yard TD bringing the score to 14-14. The Great Danes began to put there foot on the gas scoring again at the 10:39 mark in the 3rd quarter. LJ Wesneski catches a 13 yard pass from Undercuffler bringing the score to 14 -21 in favor of UAlbany. Rhode Island did not go down without a fight Priore converts a 4 yard pass to Aa. Parker for a touchdown tying the game 21 – 21 at the 3:50 mark in the third quarter.

The Great Danes began to use there dynamic defense to shut URI down for the rest of the game. Undercuffler would throw two more touchdowns and UAlbany would go on to defeat Rhode Island 35-28. The Danes scored 29 points in the second half to
